I WAS CHOOSEN BY ART- IT’S NOT WHAT I DO, IT’S WHO I AM
Born of Assyrian decent, Ninos grew up living amongst the rich culture and history of Italy. At the age of 16, he started his apprenticeship in Florence where he first learned the skills of sculpting, painting and design. For over seven years, he mastered his trade in different schools and atelier and artisan shops.
He gained a profound understanding of the fine arts at the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence and later became proficient in creating murals and monuments at Raymondo Riaci Atelier. Soon after at Bronzi Di Firenze, he discovered his greatest passion of all- sculpting. He worked as a professional sculptor, creating statues in bronze a cera persa and at Bini Alfonso, the famous artisan shop full of Florentine traditions, Ninos worked alongside Japanese artist Harow Kinoshita where he created wood sculptures and paper mache masks. In the following years, Ninos conveyed his expertise in art and craftsmanship into jewelry design in Ponte Vecchio and has embraced a lifestyle filled with travel and art thus allowing him to take his inspirations and incorporate them into his jewelry designs.
